About

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Leonard Curry, (a.k.a. Duke) has mesmerized listeners for over 25 years. After playing throughout Greater Cleveland and various locations in the country, Duke obtained formal musical education at Cleveland State University. After his first visit to New York, he knew there would never be another city for him. Within a year he was mesmerizing listeners in the tri-state areas. His versatility has led him into clubs that range from presenting Bach to those that cater to jazz. His tone and style stand out and his large repertoire will amaze you. When you hear the many temperaments he can achieve with his horn you’d might think you’re listening to a human voice. He is so artistically talented and skillful and charming that you might invite him to play at all your events. He can play solo, along with background music or with a live band. It’s your choice but whatever you do, call this Sax Man because you and your guests will be entertained in a way you’ll always remember.
